Employee stories: Christina, Project Manager
I’m Christina and I work as a project manager at Bosch Sensortec. After doing my MSc in Information Technology at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern in Germany, I had my first contact with Bosch while finishing my masters thesis at the Bosch Group in the field of radars for driver assistance.
I decided to pursue a PhD and joined the Wearable Computing Lab of ETH Zurich, again in the field of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. I joined the advanced development team at Bosch Sensortec working on algorithm development similar to my PhD work and also worked on business field analyses with our marketing department before transitioning into project management.
I especially enjoy the variety of opportunities, international spirit and cross-functional collaboration at Bosch Sensortec. In combination with highly motivated, helpful co-workers and the opportunity to assume responsibility from an early stage, Bosch Sensortec has created an ideal working environment.
You have the best of both worlds: Opportunities as well as the stability (think career programs, corporate benefits, etc.) of a large enterprise with the flexibility and hands-on experience of a start-up. The development of products for the Consumer Electronics market can be challenging but it is also very rewarding with fast project turnover and one‘s innovations quickly appearing in new products.
