100% in-house MEMS production

In 2024 alone, we surpassed the milestone of delivering over 1 billion MEMS sensors featuring integrated microcontrollers and software. From 2027 onwards, 90% of the products will include these integrated features. By 2030, we aim to achieve a remarkable total of more than 10 billion MEMS sensors sold with this advanced integration. As a pioneer in MEMS sensor technology, Bosch offers a unique advantage: with decades of 100% in-house MEMS production from design to manufacturing, and over 23 billion MEMS sensors produced, we know our hardware inside and out. This allows us to seamlessly adapt the software, reducing workload for our customers while delivering top-notch Bosch-quality and accelerated time to market. Our deep understanding of mass production and large capacity enables us to reliably handle high volume demands.

In hearables our sensing solutions enable head orientation tracking, to ensure 3D audio, head gestures & spatial computing. This also allows human machine interface, so you can control your music using built-in multi-tap detection.
With our self learning AI solution for complex gestures, exercises and activity detection, your wearable recognizes fitness activities. 24x/ gestures and activity recognition, with the always on features like step counter or human activity recognition.
Our sensing solutions in laptops detect the operation modes and position to optimize and enhance user experience. They can also detect freefall events for taking appropriate actions for data protection and warranty cases.
